Quality Inspector

We require a quality inspector based in our Shenzhen office. Lasso quality inspectors have a good understanding of our client’s products. We strive to uncover any quality issues, find root causes, implement corrective and preventative action plans, and give clients solutions prior to product shipping. In addition to product inspections, our inspectors are familiar with product procurement, manufacturing processes and logistics.
Core Responsibilities:
• Factory Audit - Visit earmarked factories to ensure Lasso standards can be met and maintained.
• Product QC - Perform inspections to ensure quality meets Lasso standards
• Communication with Suppliers - Ensure that suppliers understand our quality requirements and are committed to working with us to meet them
• Relationship Maintenance – Maintain a good working relationship with suppliers
• PAP/CAP - Develop and implement Corrective and Preventative Action Plans with suppliers and Lasso management in order to improve and maintain our quality standards
Position Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Tertiary level education
• English fluency
• Mandarin competence
Experience:
• Quality Auditor in China (or similar position)
• 5 years’ experience living in China Mainland
• Experience negotiating with Chinese suppliers
Skills:
• Ability to work autonomously
• Attention to detail
• Problem solving
• Patience
• Long term view to success
• Able to travel outside of Shenzhen on a regular basis
