Our Client, a prestigious gallery based in Shanghai are now looking to recruit a Sales Consultant/ Manager.
Key responsibilities and duties are:
Conducting art sales whilst working closely with the sales team
Maintaining and creating new relationships with industry relevant individuals such as Artists and Collectors
Attending Art Fairs, events and client meetings in order to sell artwork / find new artwork to invest within.
Having an extensive and thorough knowledge of each artists individual practice and biography
The ideal candidate will have:
Exceptional communication skills
Must have proven sales experience and a network of contacts – gallery, museum, collectors
Able to work independently and efficiently
Hold and well-established client list
Attention to detail
Strong work ethic
Happy to travel to art fairs
Fluency in Mandarin is essential
