PART-TIME INTERVIEWER (Americans and Canadians)

Opening Job: Part-Time Interviewer (https://www.vericant.com/hiring/interviewer)
Task: Conduct face-to-face interviews with Chinese students applying to study abroad. The interviews are conducted mostly in English, but there is one section in Chinese.
Salary: Up to 1200/day
Location: Multiple – Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen
About Vericant:
We hate doing useless things and we feel test prep and application fraud is a colossal waste of time and money. For the past several years, we’ve persuaded North American institutions to reconsider the way they evaluate applicants and now we are the most widely required video interview in North America. We’re working with a ton of new schools this year, and we need good interviewers interviewers to ensure continued quality of our service.
Duties:
Interview students according to Vericant’s Behavioral Interview guidelines. (we'll teach you how to do it)
Adhere to Vericant’s Interview Day Process and Vericant client-facing communications policy.
Maintain professionalism throughout interviews.
Work a minimum of 4 days a month from September to March. (preference given to those with both weekend and weekday availability)
Qualifications:
Native English Speaker from the USA or Canada.
Conversational Mandarin
Impeccable verbal communication skills.
Exceptional interpersonal skills - warm and friendly.
Ability to take initiative and work independently.
Demonstrate professionalism with our clients and amongst Vericant peers.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working in mainland China.
Excellent time-management and organization skills.
Strong Mandarin a big plus.
Excited by working in a fast-growth, start-up environment.
