High School English Teacher

We are looking for an AP History subject teacher for a High school based in Shanghai. This is a full-time position for teaching History and Geography related courses.
Job responsibilities
Organizing and delivering classroom lectures to High School students.
Evaluating a students' class work and assignments.
Preparing classroom and coursework materials, homework assignments, and handouts.
Recording and maintaining accurate student attendance records and grades.
Developing teaching plans and lesson plans in line with syllabus provided.
Guiding or coaching students on extra-curricular activities
Communicating with parents when necessary.
Qualifications:
Secondary license or certification (TEFL/CELTA) for teaching English, with a preference for a master’ degree in History, Geography, or other social studies related subjects.
Successful experience teaching in an international setting (experience with high school students and experience with US AP curriculum preferred)
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents and other teaching staff
Ability to work in stressful situations and under pressure
A positive attitude and Good listening/Planning/organizational skills
Salary and benefits
Up to 26,000 RMB before tax
Housing allowance of 6,000 RMB
Summer and winter holiday
Health insurance: provided
National holidays paid
