We're looking for a Teacher in a Group Lead position and offer a competitive salary and other benefits. Spatzennest Shanghai is a parent initiative offering bilingual childcare and education located in the heart of Shanghai. Our staff consists of German and Chinese native speakers. Childcare and education are based on a German Curriculum. Our emphasis is on teaching social skills, language development, motor skills and health education, promoting independence and creativity.

Responsibilities:
- Ensure daily orderly routine activities
- Lead core activities throughout the day
- Core responsibilities: Planning, instruction, action and reflection
- Concept and balance age relevant activities
- Planning and organisation of excursions
- Cross-group activities
- Team building
- Lead parents talks
- Observation and documentation of children's development
- Knowledge of health status of the kids (i.e. Allergies)
- Planning of yearly content
- Replace leadership in their absence

Requirements
- Educational background and minimum 2 years of experience teaching pre-school kids
- Fluent in German
- Ideally, someone already located in Shanghai
