Our client is a 100% Dutch owned contract manufacturing company with a diverse portfolio of clients and products. It specializes in injection moulded plastic parts and the assembly of mechanical/electronic products incorporating all areas of manufacturing technology. It also offers expert advice on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and product development/engineering.
Our client was established in 2003 with its headquarter located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. With 81 professionals of all levels in the fields of engineering and manufacturing, it has clients all around EU, North America, and Asian markets.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate in a team of 15 the core operational matters, e.g. engineering, quality control, procurement and production;
2. Coordinate operation-related issues across all levels of the organisation;
3. Navigate through complex situations to deliver the main objective of the operations;
4. Support the engineering team in the manufacturing environment of new products;
5. Develop a training & coaching plan to reach better operational excellence;
6. Maintain and further develop the reporting structure.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s degree (HBO) or above;
2. Excellent command of English (international team);
3. 5+ years of experience in technical manufacturing environment, preferably product development as well;
4. Some experience of staff coaching or training;
5. Excellent communication skills and team spirit;
6. Strong problem-solving skills;
7. Have a good overview of the bigger picture (of the entire and cross-functional process;
8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & (preferably) CAD and PM software
