HiDODO is a brand-new 100,000 square foot children’s mall located in the heart of Weihai, China, a coastal city famous for over 1000 kilometers of coastline.
Upon completion, the mall will become one of the largest indoor playgrounds and children's education centers in China.
Weihai is beautiful: This coastal city is amazing, with over 1000km of coastline, there are plenty of beaches, ocean views, golf courses, and exceptionally clean air. Lots of Korean influence, with a Korean town with food and shops, and Ferry rides to Dalian, and quick flights to Seoul South Korea.
We make it fun and easy to teach, we focus on hands-on activities, songs, and repetition, and utilize our imagination center for every class!
Mimibapa Town, the first bilingual pretend-play indoor playground in China, is a joint venture between Hidodo Weihai, and Mimibapa USA; it is scheduled to open January 25, 2020. Mimibapa Town's target audience: 8-12-year old children.
Mimibapa Town is looking for full and part-time teachers that are talented in music, drama, and improvisation. Join us in teaching a new dynamic and fun way to learn at our amazing facility where we “Learn through play, play to learn? using our own proprietary learning method and animated characters at our language lab, full 10-station imagination center, and interactive play areas.
Qualifications
1. Native English speaker
2. Passport holder
3. Pass US background check
4. Can commit to a 3-6-month contract
5. Musically inclined and good at singing & dancing
6. Have a passion for education
7. Have a passion for foreign culture
8. Past teaching experience preferred but not required
9. Enjoy playing with children
10. Bachelor’s Degree or teaching certification
Emphasis is placed on learning through fun activities with our great tools and methodology. The beauty of the Mimibapa phonics system is that it teaches all the possible English pronunciation and spelling rules in an easily understood method with a giant isometric reference map which is placed throughout our pretend-play city. Additional tools are at every teacher's disposal for easy and fun teaching: props, toys, push-button solutions for animated videos at every scene/station, creating minimal class preparation and more effective language learning.
25 hours of teaching weekly with two days off per week
Salary: 12,000-14,000 RMB based on experience
