Fully Remote Part-time College Essay Consultant

Established in 2016, with offices in Boston, Massachusetts and Shanghai, China, Quest Abroad International Inc. is an innovative educational platform that focuses on providing accredited summer courses for U.S college students in Asia and a educational counseling agencies providing professional college/graduate/transfer admissions counseling service to International students or students who aim to have bachelor’s/Master’s degree from top universities in the USA.
We are seeking part-time editors with a desire to share their expertise in an education setting. Part-time College Essay Editors work with international college students on their college application process by assisting students in brainstorming, outlining, and editing college essays, provide assistance with résumé-writing and interviewing skills(preferable) to help students achieve greater success in their college application. All applicants should be passionate about working with international students and should have previous experience in teaching, admission counseling or writing.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
-Coach international students through outlining, drafting, editing college essays and resumes.
-Work with individual students to brainstorm essays and to meet with them online if needed until the essay complete.
-Use WeChat to work with the students.
-Respond quickly to students questions or problems regarding essays and resumes
-Strong ability to work on tight deadlines
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree and above
-English, Creative Writing, Humanities or Social Science major preferred
-Capable of providing counseling and editing service to admission essays
-Strong writing skills
-Ability to approach problems both logically and creatively
-Excellent interpersonal skills (people-oriented, enjoys interacting with international students and working on group projects)
-Achievement-oriented (enjoys taking on challenges, seek for the best admission results)
Exceptional attention to detail
Compensation
Part-time compensation ranges from $200-$1000 per student
