Job Title: iTunes Connect Translator
Location: Beijing Haidian Lab
Job Summary
The iTunes Connect Translator (iTC Translator) is an ongoing full-time role, this position is responsible for localizing English materials related to iTunes Connect, such as user guides targeting developers (https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/apps/overview), music style guide (https://help.apple.com/itc/musicstyleguide/) and iTC news (https://itunespartner.apple.com/en/apps/news), into Korean.
An on-site try-out in Beijing Lab is required, the candidate comes to Beijing Lab for an on-site test which will take about 3 hours.
Key Accountabilities
- Reading and understanding the context of the given material
- Using specialized glossary and computer-assisted translation tools
- Researching industry-specific terminology
- Converting the English material into Korean
- Proofread the translated text for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
Education and Qualifications
- The candidate has to be a native speaker of Korean
- Bachelor degree and above
- Preferably in an English or computer-related area
- Preferably with IELTS 7.5 and above
Knowledge and Skill Requirement
- Good research skills
- Excellent English skills（both verbal and written）
- Ability to revise the translation
- Basic knowledge about software development
- Ability to acquire and apply new technical skills
- Proactive work attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural context as a good team member
- Ability to follow the schedule and implement plans while paying attention to details
- Preferably with knowledge about the music industry
