Sourcing Manager

Our client is into manufacturing, export and domestic sales of textile floor coverings like bath rugs, area rugs, carpets, etc. and other home furnishing products. They are headquartered in India and having offices in India, US & Europe. They have now established sourcing presence in China by opening an office there.
For their China office, we are looking for the following openings based in Wuxi City (Jiangsu Province, Binhu District), for sourcing quality home furnishing products:
Sourcing Manager:
§ Should be from textile industry with educational background in textiles;
§ Should possess experience of minimum 5 years in international business of bath rugs, area rugs, carpets etc.;
§ Proficient in all aspects of sourcing like product development, quality, logistics, export process etc.
§ Must be able to understand, speak, do e-mail correspondence in English;
§ May be aged 35 to 50 years;
§ A Chinese native;
§ A dynamic, results focused executive able to lead a small team.
Support Staff (2-3 nos.): Positive, productive executives to assist in the sourcing operations. One to 3 years experience in a few sourcing aspects as mentioned.
As the operations develop, our client would be open to setting up own warehousing, manufacturing operations etc. and the Sourcing Manager, depending upon capability, can look forward to making a progressive career with the Company playing key role.
