Female Tutor (Shanghai) £36,000 & accommodation included.

Core Responsibilities:
The tutor will be expected to teach approx. 35 hours per week (7 hours per day/5 days per week).
The tutor will have 3 students:
-- 7 month old and 3 year old will have support from 7:00 to 11:00 helping with reading, story telling, sport or playing games.
-- 7 year old student is the main focus. The student will be in school and the primary focus is on homework help and preparation for the 11+ exam. This tuition will take place after school from 15:00 to 20:00. The tutor will also be required to work with the younger students
The tutor will provide the Client with regular feedback on the Student’s progress.
The tutor will create all lesson plans for the tuition, set homework and mark homework.
The tutor will need to be creative in teaching style and methodology as the classroom will travel. For the majority of the placement the tutor will be in Shanghai, but will also be required to travel with the family.
The tutor will need to improvise and adapt the lesson plans accordingly when traveling.
The tutor will be prepared to meet the Client’s requests on all matters educational.
Core Requirements:
Commit to a year placement
Qualified Teacher or 2+ years of Homeschooling/Residential Experience
Knowledge of Independent schools in the UK or experience with entrance exams
Living Accommodations:
The tutor will be provided with a separate bedroom and bathroom in a separate part of the house. If the tutor wishes, meals with the family can be included.
Payment
The annual salary will be competitive and based on the tutor’s experience. Minimum salary is £36,000
Return flights included. Also there will be two other return flights for the tutor to use for annual leave.
The weekends will be the tutor's own. 25 days of annual leave is included in the contract. (Additional leave is available but will be unpaid).
