Overseas Product and sales Co-ordinator– Equestrian sports products

in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China
We have a new exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our small but busy Chinese supply chain/sales team based in Xiamen, China. The role will offer the candidate diverse and varied responsibilities in both supply chain and sales and will involve some travel around Asia. The role could also develop to include responsibilities in India and Bangladesh.
A knowledge of Equestrian products is an advantage but not essential. Experience of sales and supply chain is again an advantage but not essential, for the right candidate lack of experience will not be a barrier if there is a will to learn and adapt.
The responsibilities will include –
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with product supply vendors.
• Working with design team on new product development.
• Sourcing new materials and suppliers with Chinese team
• Managing supply chain to ensure just in time delivery.
• Quality control.
• Managing and developing Asian sales in China, HK, Korea
The right candidate will –
• Be adaptable to work on a diverse range of products and situations.
• Be able to control supplier and supply chain
• Willing to live and travel alone in China, knowledge of Chinese language advantage but not a requirement.
• Pay attention to fine detail and be able to control quality on a broad range of products.
• An aptitude for sales.
• A Chinese driving licence is an advantage.
The package
$30,000-42,000 per year plus use of car all expenses paid.Other benefits will apply depending on the candidate.
