40k-80k/year Director of Academic Needed in Beijing PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES The Director of Academics is responsible for working with the vice president and the HQ curriculum & instruction team to evaluate, enhance, and expand academic offerings with the following responsibilities: 1. To create and monitor a comprehensive professional development plan for all teachers that includes orientation and mentoring of new teachers. 2. To provide individual and school wide instructional coaching that is data driven while ensuring that curriculum is aligned with the relevant standards and assessments. 3. To develop and oversee implementation of the Academic and School Improvement Plan. 4. To co-develop and implement educational policies and programs, ensuring that they are carried out appropriately by all * * schools, students, parents, and staff. 5. To lead the schools standards based instructional and assessment strategies
