Chief Plush Toys (and Stuffed Toys) Designer Needed in Shanghai
About us:
HFWJ International was founded in 1994 and has grown to become a major supplier to the mass market, crane industry, specialty, gift, department, and dollar stores. Our clients include many of the premier retailers in the US, South America, Asia, and European markets.
Our corporate office and main showroom is located in California. We have additional showrooms in Hong Kong and Ningbo, China. We own and operate two of the largest Plush factories in China. Our Ningbo and Shandong production facilities are each over 500,000 square feet, have 2500 sewing machines each and employs over 6,500 qualified “Fun” plush toy creators. These facilities can produce over 3.5 million pieces of quality plush toys each month. Our design staff consists of over 75 experienced designers assisted by over 200 sample makers. OEM projects are always welcome. The factories are ISO 9001 Certified and have always met or exceeded all global compliance standards. You are welcome to visit either one of these enormous facilities anytime.

Now, we're in great need of a senior (stuffed) toy (plush toys) designer, to work with us in Shanghai, China
Job Title: Chief Plush Toys (and Stuffed Toys) Designer
Office: Shanghai, China
Report to: General Manager and the President of the company
Job Responsibilities:
1) be responsible for the mainstream trend of Stuffed Toys (Plush Toys);
2) be responsible for toys artwork design, and to direct the designers;
3) be responsible for international and domestic market research, and keep communicating with designers;
4) Be responsible for the training of the designers for innovation ability, and to develop the designers' ability.
Job Requirements:
1/ More than 5 years experience in the design of Stuffed Toys (Plush Toys),
2/ if you have strong hand painting ability, you will be a excellent candidate;
3/ Be able to design and develop plush toys according to the client's pictures, words and oral expression; familiar with American season culture, market culture and price;
4/ have creative thinking, good at toy's color matching
5/ understand the material selection and toy's manufacturing process, understand the cost accounting.
6/ someone come from US, Europe or Taiwan most welcome.
7/ can work full time in Shanghai, this is a must!
