Our Kindergartens in Bao’an district are looking for English teachers to begin teaching for the start of the Spring semester
SDE is an employer of international talent, and primarily contracted by municipal education bureaus to provide foreign teachers for schools and educational institutes in both public and private sectors across China. We fully comply with immigration laws and national employment standards and are sponsored and certified by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.
Our International Talent Division (ITD) is comprised of experienced managers and team members, both Chinese and foreign alike, with over 200 current foreign teachers at our schools. We have teams dedicated to every aspect of your employment in China. SDE employs foreign managers and teaching mentors to optimize our processes, mediate cultural issues, and create a smooth and happy work life to ensure quality teaching and job satisfaction. Each teacher is assigned a dedicated recruiter, visa handler, and specialist. These team members are responsible for teachers’ recruitment, visa handling, and work and life in China respectively.
Working and living in China, while massively rewarding, can also be a bit of challenge, with many cultural, regulatory and organizational differences that can surprise or frustrate many foreigners. Stemming from our extensive experience in handling these challenges, we believe it is essential to provide foreign teachers with professional dedicated support to ensure they are comfortable and happy and able to do their best work.
Job Responsibilities
-Maximum 20 teaching hours per week
-Monday to Friday classes with evenings and weekends off
-Student ages: 3-5 years old
-Deliver learner-centered, engaging lessons to students
-Ensure equal participation of all students
-Complete all administrative tasks promptly
-Actively participate in professional development workshops and activities
-Attend school activities, parties, and other events
Compensation
-11,000 – 14,000 RMB per month
-3,000 RMB housing allowance per month
-Airport pickup (not including HK airport, SDE will meet you at the border) bank card, phone card, and -apartment rental assistance
-Paid upfront flight OR Flight allowance: 5000 RMB in the first working month
-Summer vacation (One contract period includes half month salary and one month full housing allowance)
-Legal Z work visa support
-Social and accident insurance provided
-Weekly Chinese lessons
-Sponsored cultural events and activities
Requirements
-Native English speaker from UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, or South Africa
-Bachelor’s degree or above
-120 hour TEFL certificate required
-Teaching experience preferred but not required
-Clean criminal record
-Professional, positive and culturally aware
