Performing Arts/ English Education on Hainan Island

in Haikou, Hainan Province
This is THE ideal teaching gig for those who enjoy living on a tropical island and want to pursue other interests outside of work.
We teach English, Visual Arts, Music, Singing and Yoga to children, ages 7-17.
Teaching's a maximum of 16 hours a week. No office hours. Weekly meeting. 2 days off a week.
Classes are either 50, 80, or 110 minutes long. You teach a few different classes every week so you're not seeing the same students all the time.
90 days vacation PAID IN FULL per year
Salary starts at 8,000 and increases according to performance. Show us what you can do.
There is also a hefty bi-annual bonus.
A large seaside apartment located downtown is provided by the school. It comes furnished and staff are always ready to assist employees in repairing or buying what is needed for the house.
The school pays for and assists in obtaining the Chinese Residence Permit.
Requirements:
Ready to start immediately
Able to work well with children and others
Timely and dutiful
Not an asshole, criminal or a creep
Possesses Bachelors Degree
Has teaching experience
TESL Certification
Native English speaker
Be able to obtain a general health check confirming good health
Provide a letter of reference and release from current employer if already working in China
Provide valid Foreign Worker's Permit if already in China
Prior experience teaching in China is preferred
Our school is the longest running training center in Haikou with over 20 years experience. We have a good reputation within the community and don't advertise, instead we receive our students via word of mouth. Most of the students go on to be fluent and are very successful in their primary schools. We are looking for high quality teachers who aren't in it just to make a buck and live in China, but actually care about the success and well-being of the kids.
