3e International School enrols approximately 225 students in Nursery (2 years) through Grade 6. Our students come from more than 20 nations and nearly all are second language learners of English, Chinese, or both. We take pride in fostering a love of learning, an ability to think critically and creatively about problems, and an ability to work collaboratively with all types of people.
At 3e, children spend 50% of each day in an English classroom with two native English speakers and 50% in a Chinese classroom with two native Chinese speakers. Teachers work collaboratively with their co-teacher to plan and implement engaging hands-on, cross-curricular, and developmentally appropriate activities. Education is focused on the whole-child including: cognitive, language, emotional, physical, creative, and inter/intrapersonal skills. Assessments at 3e are rarely standardized, but rather take the form of a developmental portfolio that tracks a child’s individual progress as they move through grade levels.
