General Manager

Full-time at Avalin Group FZE T/A China Link in Dalian


Hello,


We are a 16 years old "family start up" company focused on trade and quality control of flooring products to and from China. We now have 32 staff and unfortunately our General Manager must leave us soon due to family reasons. We hope to find a suitable replacement to continue his excellent work. Duties include but are not limited to:


Office Management


1. Ensure office/its equipment/resources are well maintained and in perfect running order at all times.

2. Ensure security and cleanliness of office at all times.

3. Oversee, authorize, review all office expenditures, below 5000 RMB, without prior CEO’s approval.

4. Implement, oversee and authorize office costs cutting measures.



Human Resources Management


5. Lead by example on all matters regarding company culture and policies.

6 . Hire, train, assess, discipline and dismiss staff with CEO’s prior approval.

7. Manage and authorize staff holidays and sick leaves.

8. Delegate responsibilities to staff and affect systems improvements as and when required and approved by the CEO.

9. Ensure that company policy with regard to staff welfare and discipline is maintained at all times.

10. Monitor and review of staff salary.

11. Keep CEO updated on staff attitudes and performance.

12. Develop, plan and implement company/office/ activities.

13. Ensure company culture is adhered to and understood by staff.

14. Draw up company and staff targets and monitor and support the staff to reach them.

15. Ensure staff is fully committed to company targets, growth and profitability.

16. Ensure all staff adhere to company/office systems and procedures at all times.

17. Ensure all staff accurately follow job descriptions.


Business Management


18. Monitor, maintain & improve company procedures, server and systems wherever possible.

19. Monitor Daily Morning Reports.

20. Monitor Monday Weekly Client Orders Update Table.

21. Monitor Wednesday Weekly Inspector’s Inspection Schedule.

22. Monitor Thursday Weekly Shipment Record Tables.

23. Monitor Friday Weekly Expenses Report.

24. Monitor Friday Weekly Money Owed to the Company Table.

25. Monitor Friday Weekly Container Status Table.

26. Monitor Monthly Company Accounts Table.

27. Monitor Quarterly Inspector bonuses.

28. Attend & nurture specific clients & projects assigned to the employee’s management.

29. Negotiate prices with factories and clients in the best interest of the company profits.

30. Support the general day-to-day running of all business operations at all levels.

31. Support the CEO with all business matters, meetings and exhibition as and when required.

32. Host and escort visiting clients to factories around China as and when required.

Sales Support:

33. Ensure company websites, catalogues and promotional materials are ready & up to date.

34. Develop & grow sales of existing clients assigned to the employee’s management.

35. Develop leads through client canvassing via e-mails & phone calls for CEO’s follow up meeting.

36. Represent & promote company products & services at functions and exhibitions.


Required qualities:


1. HR and Business Management experinece

2. Language skills: English, Chinese essential. Others beneficial.

3. Trade experience.

4. Honest, hard-working and result-oriented.

5. Live in Dalian Kai Fa Qu area.
