Bilingual Copywriter - English & Chinese

KOLLEKTIV is a creative consulting company with a centrally-located office in Shanghai. We are a fast-growing boutique company run by like-minded creatives, editors, and industry mavens.
Our work includes branding, design, photography, social media, and writing services. We work with the best in the biz, namely, some of the city’s award-winning restaurants and bars.
We’re looking for a writer who is capable of producing English and Chinese lifestyle content for our clients.
This candidate will work closely with our team of highly experienced industry professionals, and gain insight into the world of F&B in Shanghai.
This person will also learn how to adapt content for social media, as well as gain new skills in photography, design, and videography.
1. Responsible for client-based writing tasks, including promotions, features, interviews, or research-based
2. Editing and optimizing content for related platforms
3. Uploading and formatting for WeChat, Instagram, and other platforms
4. Idea generation - pitching content ideas on a regular basis
5. Content management - scheduling and planning
6. Communicate with clients
7. Passionate about the food and drink industry, social media, and media
We want the right candidate to grow with us and share in our passion for creating great content.
Requirements:
- Excellent command of written English
- Intermediate Chinese writing skills
- Excellent time management skills and adept at multitasking
- Strong attention to detail and able to work under deadline
- Excellent communication skills and good work ethic
- Experience working with WeChat is a plus
- Basics in Photoshop or other photo-editing software is a plus
- Photography or videography skills is a plus
- Minimum one year's work experience in fields of either teaching, writing, journalism, editing, or similar.
- Two years work experience after graduation (not applicable for Chinese, Hong Kong, Taiwan passport holders)
Salary: 10k-15k
