ESL Teacher

Field Education International is currently recruiting teachers to complement our qualified workforce of educators. We will provide you an opportunity to work in a cross-cultural and stress-free working environment in China. We are hiring responsible and high-quality ESL teachers to fill positions in our schools across China. Teaching in Field Education includes organizing and delivering English lessons to young learners aged 3-12 years old in small class size. Curriculum development has provided by our academic department, so for you, what needs to be done is only to provide English instruction to classes or individual students to improve the English reading, writing and speaking skills of students.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Plan, organize and implement instructional program that helps each student achieve learning objectives and curriculum goals
- Assist in the placement testing and interviewing of new students
- Attend and participate in monthly trainings or workshops for teachers’ development
- Cooperate with sales and service team members in demo classes
- Uphold the school code of conduct and all school policies, rules and procedures in a supportive and positive manner
- Attend center social events
-Use a variety of activities and different teaching methods (songs, videos, crafts, outdoor activities etc.) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
- Cooperate with administration staff
-Uphold school regulations and procedures in a supportive and positive manner
- Greet students and parents at the door
Instruction Hours
-Maximum of 25 teaching hours per week (usually less)
-Maximum of 15 admin hours per week
-Work schedule: 1pm to 9pm on weekdays and 8:30 to 18:30 on weekends (Monday and Tuesday are off)
Requirements
- Native English Speaker (US,UK,CA,IR,NZ,AUS)/ European candidates with fluent English are also welcome to apply
- BA in any field
- Age from 24 to 40 is highly preferred
- TESOL, TEFL or similar teaching certification preferred
- A team player attitude
-Responsible, approachable and friendly.
Compensation
-Excellent salary: 10,000 – 18,000 RMB per month (exact salary is dependent on your qualifications and experience and will be discussed during interview)
- Free accommodation or 3,000 RMB monthly housing allowance
- End of year bonus: 6,000 RMB
-Airfare allowance provided: up to 6,000 RMB (paid on contract completion)
-Performance related bonuses (details provided during interview)
- Legal ‘Z’ work visa provided
-All national holidays paid
-Personal teaching assistant provided
