Supplier Management & Sourcing Consultant

- As an Independent Consultant, you have the flexibility of working from your home office.
- Bilingual Mandarin and English skills are a must.
- General Supplier Management Support
o Assist in information exchange between KV supplier managers and suppliers.
o Perform supplier oversight & troubleshooting as product or shipping issues arise.
o Conduct routine quality and pre-shipping audits of finished goods.
o Verify supplier fully implements corrective action when addressing nonconforming material issues.
o Ensure suppliers maintain shipping commitments prior to prolonged holidays and shutdown periods.
o Facilitate routine supplier visits between KV personnel and suppliers.
- Sourcing Support
o Assist with high level web screening in identification of new potential suppliers.
o Utilize KV Rapid Plant Assessment form to determine factory’s suitability for manufacturing KV commodities.
o Perform on-site product reviews in support of new product launch.
- Social and Environmental Responsibility Compliance
o Obtain/utilize knowledge of government standards related to factory labor, safety & environmental compliance.
o Utilize KV forms to perform factory compliance assessments.
o Where shortfalls in compliance are identified, evaluate factory corrective actions for effectiveness.
o Perform factory assessment in advance of scheduled third party audits.
o Communicate directly with KV supply managers to keep them abreast of supplier compliance status.
