LEGO Workshop Instructor

Full-time at The Genius Workshop in Shanghai

The Genius Workshop Shanghai is seeking for an enthusiastic native English speaking instructor who is passionate about teaching and possesses the qualities to collaborate and expand with us in Asia. Our focus is to develop and deliver the latest science & technology curricula for children aged 3 to 14.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Effective planning and delivery of TGW programs in a fun, creative and learn through play environment
• Coach children to explore and invent through technology-based children's programs
• Participate in TGW public relations and marketing activities as required

Requirements
• Demonstrated ability to work competently, courteously, and cheerfully with young children and teenagers
• Commitment to professionalism, excellence and punctuality
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skill with multi-tasking ability and term spirit mindset
• Sound judgment, good work ethic, detail-oriented, and flexible and optimistic personality
• Ability to build and maintain positive and effective relationships with parents, students, school teachers and coordinators, co-workers (both Western and Chinese), and corporate partners
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to bend, stoops, carries, and handles all types of teaching materials and resources
• Professional appearance
• Good technical knowledge of PC applications, MS office including PowerPoint, Photoshop
• Excellent in English communication (oral and written). Understanding spoken Mandarin an asset
• Ability to lead fun parties for children, presentation skill, and familiar with web design / maintenance a definite asset
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Available to work during one weekend day every week, and having one day off during weekday
