Head of Finance – China

Reports To: General Manager - China
Location: Shanghai, China
Salary: c€110K plus bonus and benefits
The Client;
Very well known €2B International Consumer Foods (Dairy) business, employing over 3000 people
globally selling to over 100 countries. In 2013 they established a Wholly Owned Foreign Enterprise in
China. Today the business employs circa 15 people and is looking to further develop its in-market
team in the coming months. The strategy is to combine both organic and acquisition growth in the
region
The role:
The Head of Finance role represents an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance/accounting
professional to join the expanding Chinese business. It has the potential to lead to significant global
career development opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Financial Reporting
Financial Planning & Analysis
Working Capital & Cash Management
Local Statutory Reporting
Financial Processes & Controls
Key Requirements:
Hold a formal accounting/finance qualification (ACA, ACCA)
Several years’ industry based work experience
Strong work ethic and a demonstrated successful track record of achievement
Global mobility – desire to pursue international opportunities
Fluent English & Ideally Mandarin (written & verbal)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a
team
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and numerical skills
Good organisational and time management skills
Strong IT skills in MS Office and ERP systems
