Director of Sales

Full-time at A famous US telcom & network company in Beijing

The Sales Director will manage all the activities of the China sales organisation with the primary goal to meet P&L objectives, develop a pipeline for services in China, and increase market-share against the competition.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1、Staffing & Management of the China sales teams to achieve the order budget, with the highest attainable margins. 
2、Working with the sales team to manage the order pipeline, comprising: identifying new prospects; assisting in the development of initial contacts; development of the customer relationship; tracking progress through the sales process, and closing contracts.
3、Working with the marketing team to develop a successful sales and marketing strategy for the China market, incl. identification of: a) target customer markets - customer profiles and needs in different China markets; b) generic product solutions (and pricing) which leverage our core strengths and meet the customer needs (c) competitor analysis (d) routes to market for both marketing initiatives and sales.
4、Development of relationship with major accounts into lasting business partnership.
5、Development of short- and long-term strategies from both a product-oriented approach and also a service- & solutions-oriented approach.
6、Co-ordination of all activities within the bid process and promotion of improvements in the sales process and strategies, and their adaptation in an extremely dynamic setting.
7、Review of all bids before bid review with the CEO, and be responsible for ensuring that the proposed prices and terms are the most favourable that can be achieved.
8、Fostering the development of a common vision, providing clear direction and clarifying roles and responsibilities for team members, whilst encouraging initiative by strong leadership.
9、Be fully aware of the Company Quality Policy and comply with the Quality Procedures and instructions applicable to the above responsibilities.
10、Undertake any ad-hoc activities within the scope of the position as requested by management.

Key Skills:
1、Significant and demonstrable experience successfully building and running a multi-national, enterprise sale & marketing organization in China.
2、Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, manage, assess, develop or change personnel and increase their overall contribution to the Group’s business.
3、Experience of key account management, customer satisfaction, commercial and contract negotiations. Specific experience with selling into China Telecom, China Unicom, China Mobile and/or Government ministries highly desirable.
4、Highly experienced in analysing all members of the direct reporting team in terms of skills assessment, training requirements, performance appraisal and career development.
5、Commercially astute with a strong understanding of sales prospecting processes and business modelling.
6、Bright, charismatic, inspiration character with the ability to win credibility internally, quickly.
7、Tenacious, driven, ambitious and hard working.
8、Excellent communicator, able to articulate and deliver messages effectively in English, as well as, Chinese.
9、Bright – intellectual capacity to add to and develop the company’s sales strategy.
