Job Summary and Essential Functions:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Database & Analytics, the APAC Data Stewardship Team Member is responsible for the increase of data quality in key DB areas of the Orders, Accounts and Contacts in the APAC Marketing DB. This includes targeting pre-defined areas of weakness in data such as DB numbers in accounts/contacts/orders, tracking progress of data quality and focusing
The ideal candidate will have a proven background in data remediation/stewardship with exposure to APAC markets. For the candidates supporting Greater China and Japan expert language requirements apply.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Working with the APAC Marketing Operations team to build scope, cadence and process for data remediation
• Working with global data governance team as required to verify correct procedures for data cleansing
• Directly in charge of cleansing pre-defined areas of data cleansing to prepare for global marketing DB Atlas
• In charge of tracking increasing tracking quality of data from remediation/cleansing efforts\
• Proactively identifying areas of data weakness and adjusting plans to increase impact of data cleansing efforts
QUALIFICATIONS
• Should have 3+ years within areas such as data remediation/governance/stewardship support for B2B companies
• Have a solid background with excel, ORACLE SQL and exposure to APAC markets.
• The person should have prior experience in data cleansing work that involve searching through websites for the missing information in the data & searching through D&B database to manually find & match company data.
• Must like to "work with numbers". Be a self-starter and able to work without much supervision.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with other sales and operations teams and culturally with Asia Pacific marketing team members.
• The person must be experienced in presenting information and analytic results to the business.
• The ideal candidate will have experience worked in the business-to-business or software industry.
• Education: BS, BA. Preferably within Marketing, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Database.
