Yuuyi Digital Technology is now looking for a creative, self-motivated foreigner to join our team.
YDT creates handheld devices that help students learn English in a fun, interactive way. The device can recognize speech patterns and help students improve their speaking and pronunciation. The device also aims to raise students' test scores by correlating Chinese public school content with learning modules in our machine.
Your job will be to help develop curriculum that is not only interesting, but also engaging and challenging. As a native speaker, you will bring an air of authenticity to our creative design and course production groups. The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years of teaching experience, preferably with primary and middle school-aged students.
A TEFL certificate with a practicum component preferred.
Chinese language proficiency
A desire to be creative
Ability to work in an ambiguous, cross-cultural environment
Motivation and discipline to manage your time and meet deadlines
Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience and Chinese language ability.
