This course aims to prepare students to succeed in western universities by strengthening their English competencies while exercising their critical thinking skills, growing their appreciation for intellectual property, assisting them in utilizing common office IT tools, and helping to understand the challenges and benefits of work in teams.
Requirements:
1. Teaching and Professional Skills
1.1. Holder of a university degree and a recognised EFL teaching qualification (min RSA Dip TEFL)
1.2. Wide-ranging relevant EAP experience
1.3. Ability to train overseas students not only in the English language and study skills required in British, Canadian, Australian or American higher education but also in the thought processes that underpin the learning experience
1.4. Ability to develop quality teaching materials
1.5. Ability to contribute to the assessment of the students' performance in both written and oral English examinations
1.6. A creative but self-critical attitude to teaching and related duties
1.7. A flexible/participative approach, prepared to adapt to students' needs; Willingness to take on new challenges and make a positive contribution to the development of the department
1.8. A well-organised approach to duties
2. Communication Skills
2.1. Native speaker of English
2.2. Ability to write clear concise English
2.3. Ability to use English accurately and appropriately in an academic context

You will teach Accounting, an introductory course in university Accounting that covers a broad span of disciplines. You will teach only in English to Chinese high school graduates.
Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a strong accounting focus in either business or science and will have experience in teaching accounting in English to pre-university students who are non-native English speakers.

You will teach a pre-postgraduate course in economics that covers basic principles of macroeconomics and microeconomics, various economic indicators and the tools of economic analysis to perform company and industry competitive analysis. You will only teach in English.
Requirements:
The best candidate will have at least a Master degree in Economics-related field and strong experience in teaching economics subjects in English to non-native English speaking students.
