Are you a smart, creative, bi-lingual American who is looking for a great full-time job or paid internship in Beijing? Do you live online, with long lists of friends? Are you super organized, and love driving complex projects? Are you eager to put your Chinese to work in a Chinese work environment, where you can get some real work experience while having a great time?
If you answered "yes!" to these questions, then this is the opportunity for you. We are Zinch, the online social network that connects students with schools and scholarships (www.Zinch.com and www.Zinch.cn). We have about 30 Chinese professionals in Beijing, and are looking to add a great "foreigner" to the team. You will drive a mission-critical project to help American students find and enjoy "Study in China" opportunities, and also help Chinese students connect with American students who want to help explain US education. You'll also help US schools explain themselves to potential Chinese students, and vice versa. You'll direct cross-functional marketing, product and operations colleagues, in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
To fit our needs, you need to be an American college grad, a native English speaker, and speak very strong Mandarin Chinese. You need to be highly organized, with a "can do" attitude. You need to be very familiar with online social media. You don't need any specific work experience, nor do you need deep technical skills. The position is full-time, located in our Zhongguancun office in Beijing.
