Global leading consulting firm looks for merit candidates from consulting and market research background to join their Beijing team.
Job Responsibilities:
• Plan and take the lead of a local research team to develop the local financial services thought leadership publications including conducting market research and client survey;
• Develop in-depth analysis on the development, trends and hot topics of China’s financial markets to better understand clients’ issues and business needs;
• Cooperate with the global team to leverage and localize global reports, publications and surveys;
• Support leaders of the China Financial Service Practice to promote the thought leadership publications and research reports in client visits, media interviews, client training and industry meetings and seminars.
Job Qualifications:
• PHD degree of related disciplines;
• Above 10 years’ research related experience in financial services industry is required, preferably from reputable consulting firms, investment banks, large domestic/foreign banks, university research institutes or regulatory bodies such as CBRC or PBOC.
• Has strong analytical skills and in-depth understanding of China’s banking, insurance and investment management industries,
• Has global exposure or is familiar with both China mainland and HK financial markets;
• Quick learner about client expectation and qualify requirements;
• Strong consultation and communication skills and self-initiation,
• Good team player and able to work with cross functions and cultural teams
• Willingness to work under pressure and time constraint;
• Mature, proactive and committed;
• Excellent project management and interpersonal skills;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese, including both technical and business writing, good documentation and presentation skills.
