Job description
Positions Titles: Kids English teachers / ESL teachers for young learners
Position status: Available now
Course type: Spoken English course for kids
Contract period: 1 year (Full time)
Working schedule: 5 days working week (not including stand by or cover work). Teaching on weekends might be required at times according to the government calendar.
Teaching Hours: 20 hours a week - hours working shift including 1 hour for meals and rest
Other duties: Cover lessons if required
Remuneration package
Monthly salary:
57 Hours per month package ( 7,125 RMB, 4 working days a week in Yangpu district)
60 Hours per month package ( 7,500 RMB, Monday thru Friday in Yangpu district)
86 Hours per month package ( 10,825 RMB, Monday thru Friday in Yangpu district)
Extra payment: Over target teaching hours is payed 125 RMB per hour
Overtime: 150 RMB per hourly rate if shift time exceeds 9hrs (including meals, which may be 1hr) or is taught on a teachers normal day off
Bonus compensation: bonus at the end of the contract for 1st year in China: 5.040 RMB (not paid if terms of contract are broken)
Flight: Single flight payed up to 4.500 RMB 1st year teachers only. Teacher must submit ticket and receipt on arrival. This will be paid at the end of the contract.
Transportation expenses: Travel allowance of 300 RMB per month will be paid with the teacher’s salary. Receipts are to be submitted by the of the month. Travel costs for cover lessons will be paid in addition to the monthly travel allowance.
Cell phone allowance: 50 RMB will be paid to the teacher with the monthly salary, provided that the teacher maintains their phone on between the hours of 6:00 am and 10:00 pm
Public holiday: 12 days paid leave for Chinese national holidays and scheduled school holidays as defined by the government.
Annual paid leave: 5 days annual payed leave allowed. (Holidays are to taken in a block and at a time designated by the school or approved with your manager)
Days off with allowance payment: For each day of work missed, payment will be always provided whether it will be considered reasonable
Sick leave: 5 days medical /study leave allowed. (Medical leave will require doctors’ report or certificate. Study will require 1 months notice and you will be required to arrange your own cover teacher. Unused leave may be converted into holiday leave at the end of the contract)
Insurence: Chinese Accident & Medical insurance provided. Also, if the teacher has medical insurance from abroad and with copies documentation being provided on arrival the school will pay up to 1.300 RMB as a contribution toward insurance costs for the contract period.
