Stora Enso plans to build plantation-based integrated board and pulp mills at Beihai city in Guangxi, southern China. The mill site will initially include a 450 000 tonnes per year state-of-the-art paperboard machine and pulp capacity of 900 000 tonnes per year, including necessary energy plant and auxiliary facilities. In a unique set-up, the board and pulp mills will be self-sufficiently integrated with wood supply from 120 000 hectares of self-managed eucalyptus plantations. The estimated supply demand of this mill will be about 2 800 000 m3 of wood per year.

Description
• Cover all Project phases of Engineering, Erection, Construction and Commissioning
• Responsible for the organization within own area for plan, budget, follow-up, cost control, quality control, work safety, construction, commission and start-up
• Ensure that the objectives of the own project area across all disciplines are achieved in accordance with agreed targets and project guidelines.
• Responsible of planning and engineering within his/her sector of the responsibility
• Prepare material required and report back on progress
• Coordinate training and create supporting material
• Project Document Management in the area
• Responsible for the safety within his/her sector of responsibility
• Priorities, focus, delegate and manage a team of professionals from different countries
Location is Beihai city, Guangxi Province and the position reports to Project Director
Requirements
•University or college degree with relevant faculty (pulping, mechanical, chemistry, engineering)
• Is able to use standard office software and relevant project applications
• Relevant experience in a large scale international pulp and/or paper projects
• Leadership and management skills
• Ability to supervise consultants/ experts to expected outcome
• Open-minded person with ability to work within an international team and cross cultural environment
• Excellent skills in both written and oral English
