SHIPPING COORDINATOR

Over the past ten years, Palatino has collaborated with a number of prestigious hotel groups and successfully assisted them in improving their service and/or product offerings. At Palatino Hospitality, our mission is to offer a complete « one-stop » solution to our clients. We handle all aspects of the production process from the design, material sourcing, product development, quality control to the delivery.
Responsibilities
• Prepare shipping quotes.
• Negotiate shipping fees with couriers.
• Prepare shipping reports and forecast for senior management.
• Keep a meticulous record of shipment information.
• Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
• Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped
• Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping
• Process orders based on the buyer’s preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
• Contact carrier and schedule shipping for each package
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
Requirements
• A degree in business management, logistics or another relevant field
• 1+ years’ experience in retail or e-commerce
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proactive, attentive to details, able to follow tight timeline
• Excellent command of written & spoken English
• Ability to multitask and to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics
• Immediate availability preferred
• Flexible work hours
• Computer literacy skills
