ABOUT THE JOB
Drawing on the host's 13-year journalist experience, with both in-studio and on-site interviews with key opinion leaders and influencers. The Hub aims to help the world to understand China and Chinese perspectives on international events. The 30 minutes commentary program features dynamic designs, fast pace and rich visuals to keep viewers engaged. We cover hot-button geopolitical and economic issues, as well as interesting stories and trends in culture, education, technology and lifestyle, to connect people, cultures and societies across the East and the West.
We're looking for an editor with news commentary experience to write, research and input stories. You have come from a background where you have reported on politics and economics and are keenly attune to trending news stories. You have a keen news sense and your solid journalism background ensures that you can make stories thought provoking enough to make the audience think and tune into our show.
ABOUT YOU
• You must have previous news experience
• A bachelor’s degree and relevant post graduate work experience
• Flawless writing and idiomatic English communication skills
• Multimedia skills in a professional setting
• Previous experience reporting politics and economy
