We at DoReMi are seeking a combined Drama and English teacher who loves kids and enjoys variety. Someone who has ideas, energy, and can bring a bit of razzle-dazzle to the lives of our students.

This position and schedule are flexible – we want to create a great teaching arrangement for you, based on your skills, talents and experience.
What we can say is that you’ll be working in both Chinese public schools and in our Dramatic English studio, teaching students from 3 up to 13.
Teaching is an average of 5.5 hours a day, and you’re also paid for any overtime according to situation! We provide the curriculum for you, but give you the flexibility to make it your own.

What we’re after:
• A Native English-speaking teacher who ideally has both ESL and drama-related experience (in performance or teaching)
• A Bachelor’s degree, majoring in Education, Drama, Arts, Performance or similar
• No criminal record, good health
• Age 23-55
What we provide:
• Full-time salary: 17k-22k RMB/month (after tax)
• Flight allowance: 5000RMB (after completing a one-year contract)
• Over-time pay: 250RMB/hour
• Paid vacation: Chinese public holidays and Christmas Day
• Opportunities for paid work through winter and summer holidays
• Visa assistance: Dedicated visa expert to help with a smooth transfer
• Medical insurance: covering out/in-patient treatment and emergency
• Accommodation: First five days subsidised and assistance for finding permanent apartment
