Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Compose creative and logical essays in response to American Colleges/Universities’ Application and Admission Prompts, such as Personal Statements, Supplement Essay Questions, Common Application Prompts, Recommendation Letters, and so forth;
• Translate a variety of documents, mostly education and career-related from Chinese to English and vice versa. E.g. CVs or Résumés, Visa Related Documents and etc…;
• Edit and translate educational resources and materials of American Education Institutions.
Requirements:
• Good command and confident use of the English language;
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel 2007 and a regular user of the Internet;
• Friendly, outgoing with great interpersonal skills;
• Efficient and ability to work under extreme pressure;
• Although not necessary, past experience in translation with adequate writing skills is preferred.
