Job description:
Fully responsible for the day to day running of and leading the kitchen team in a busy, high volume kitchen
Work alongside the General Manager in delivering a consistent, quality service.
The Chef will adhere to all relevant hygiene and health and safety practices.
Responsible for assisting in maintaining high levels of hygiene and food preparation
The Chef must have the ability to cope under pressure
Responsible for the purchase of kitchen facilities and equipment, and maintaining kitchen stock levels
Job Requirements:
Ability to cook basic German food
Ability to cook European dishes
Must possess a genuine passion for food and service, with experience in a high end restaurant environment
Previous hotel experience is a must
Must have worked in China for at least 1 year
Starting date: March 2012
Duration: Full-time, 1-3 year contract
Salary: 200,000 Yuan per year
