Textile Import & Sourcing Manager (Shanghai)

Our client is a very successful textile import company based in Shanghai and in business since 15 years. Their main field of operations is importing highest-quality fabric from the European market (Germany, Italy, France) and distributing it to domestic cloth brands for processing.
Until now they are the exclusive agent for 16 European textile companies on the Chinese market and the sales team travels to Europe frequently for exhibitions.
The company has had significant growth during the past 10 years and is located in one of Shanghai’s most fashionable office towers around Yu Garden right in the city centre. You will have your own working place in the office and the staff is looking forward to welcome you soon.
Area of Business: Textile Trading
Staff: 15
Starting Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 3-6 months
Working time: 9:00am - 17:30pm
Compensation: 2000,-RMB/month

Task Description:
● Assist sourcing manager in identifying and contacting new markets in Europe
● Train the Chinese staff about the Western culture and way of doing business
● Join the sales team and represent the company during fairs an exhibitions
● Attend meetings and welcome foreign clients in the office
