General Manager(construction equipment export)

We are a multinational construction equipment supply organization that is seeking candidates to fill the position of General Manager for our China operations. The successful candidate will be a positive, multifaceted and dynamic individual who will manage and coordinate our daily operations in China and also direct all aspects of our Chinese supply chain arm including manufacturing, quality control and logistics. We are currently operating mainly in and around Jiangsu province but may order product from any province in China.
Roles and duties for this position will include but are not be limited to:
- Maintaining and improving vendor relations and communication
- Sourcing new and qualified vendors for corporate audit and approval
- Overseeing China logistics Managers duties and effectiveness
- Overseeing China Quality Control Managers duties and effectiveness
- Liaising with intercompany project stakeholders and vendors to ensure success on all deliverables
- Update corporate stakeholders as required
Applying candidates must meet the following criteria:
- English as a first language
- Educated at a Western Institution
- Managerial experience in China
- Must have a valid mainland Chinese driver\'s license
- Ability to travel within China when required

- Fluent in Mandarin – Speech
- Technical/Engineering experience
- Manufacturing Experience
