Adventure Expert (sales)

Full-time at Travelers Society in Shanghai

We’re Travelers Society, a community of travelers who go waaay off the beaten path to experience what few people have been able to… Trips include immersing yourself in North Korea, the Trans-Siberian train, paragliding over rice terraces, to camping on the Great Wall…
We are an exciting, promising start-up with a unique USP and a young, diverse and hungry team.
The Customer Sales and Support Executive (Travel) position offers an exceptional opportunity to act as a bridge for international and domestic travelers and the various amazing trips we are organizing. The position offers a high degree of responsibility acting as a direct contact to all customers who seek an exceptional and personal experience throughout the buying journey and beyond.
This role will require you to assist all customers with queries about the trip before they sign up, following up on each conversation and making sure that the customer receives the best possible experience. Part of this includes efficiently providing the correct pricing, offering useful trip advice, payment checking, and any other assistance the customer may need before sign up.
You will also be required to follow up on leads, converting them to purchasers through great service and support.
Working in a start-up is exciting but can be very challenging – we are a small (but growing) family who often work long hours and are consistently pushed outside our comfort zone – if this sounds like something you could jump in to – apply and we’ll have a chat.
