Assistant Merchandiser

Danson Decor Inc. is headquartered in Montréal, Québec, Canada and is opening a new division in Shenzhen China. Danson Décor Inc. has been in business for 75 years and is a market leader in the seasonal and home décor product industry. With facilities in both North America and China. We offer a complete line of products and accessories in home and seasonal décor.
Working closely with the Merchandiser, the Assistant Merchandiser will assist the merchandiser with the following tasks:
• Follow-up in all merchandising related activities in the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
• Monitor the calendar with product development team, to meet the key milestones.
• Respond to both vendors & customers within 48 hours.
• Keep record well filed and monitor the information in the entire process (from development to shipment).
• Confirm orders with customers.
• Handle customers’ enquiries.
• Keep track of sample submission for approval for both development & production in each stage, ensure to stick to the agreed calendar.
• Follow up with vendors, customers, internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
• Provide general & clerical support to the Merchandiser
Requirements:
• 1-3 years experience in Merchandising
• Experience in our industry
• Strong communication and understanding in English and Mandarin
• Good knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
