Recruiter needed for American university

Small, accredited university in the United States is seeking a regular student recruiter based in China.
We offer scholarships and great programs to Chinese students, so we are not a hard sell!
The China-based recruiter is responsible for directly admitting students from Chinese high/middle schools into our University (via our intensive English program, if needed). The recruiter will develop a recruitment plan, present to groups of Chinese students on our programs, meet with parents and prospective students, visit with teachers and administrators from local schools, build articulation agreements, and guide prospective students through the application process, as well as the pre-departure and U.S. student visa application process. Travel within China will be necessary.
Recruiter will earn a monthly base salary, receive a regular home office budget, plus earn a generous commission for each student who is recruited based on a rolling, 12-month contract. Monthly payment made via bank transfer in USD. This position, when considering commissions, has the potential to be lucrative.
The individual must be incredibly motivated, disciplined, a self-starter, able to make her or his own schedule and independently reach goals without supervision. This position is perfect for the American or other English-speaking ESL instructor looking to expand.
