Network Engineer

SoftNET is a European telecommunications network operator, growing rapidly in Asia. To strength our operations in China, we are looking for a network engineer in Shanghai. www.softnet.eu
You will be responsible for implementing and support of SoftNET IP/MPLS solutions in China. To be successful at this job you need to be proficient with Cisco devices.
Main tasks:
• Design, implementation, and monitoring of SoftNET equipment and IP/MPLS services,
• Coordinate changes and upgrades with SoftNET Europe technical department,
• Ensures that all Service Level Agreements are met and maintain the highest level of client satisfaction,
• Collaborate with outside vendors/project leads to provide knowledge of network to ensure successful implementations of new or changed solution,
• Support Sales department to analyze and offer appropriate solution to potential customers,
• Administrate SoftNET internal services,
• Receive, prioritize and respond to incoming calls, Service Now tickets and/or emails regarding equipment and/or connectivity problems daily,
• Document plans and activities, and report to Shanghai Manager.
Job requirements:
• CCNA required, CCNP would be a plus
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Good knowledge of Chinese
• Occasionally travel in China/Asia
