WorldTeach volunteer teachers are among the most sought-after in the Hunan Province of China. As a WorldTeach volunteer in China, you will be part of a life-changing experience that will deeply impact you and your students. Volunteer teachers work as English teachers in middle or elementary schools. WorldTeach offers volunteer training to aid your time teaching in China. This program is fully funded by the Hunan Provincial Government. Volunteers are responsible for their own airfare.
With our year-long program, you can also become TEFL certified to earn credibility and give you an edge in the ESL teaching job market. While certification usually costs about $1,899, with WorldTeach you can become certified for only $350 while also gaining priceless in-country teaching experience.
Qualifications:
Be a native-level English speaker
Have a bachelor’s degree by the time of the program’s departure
Be between the ages of 21 and 74
Be highly flexible, mature, and have a genuine interest in teaching
