Interior Design Intern

Purpose Of Job:
The goal for our interns is to gain an insight into various markets that will enhance their knowledge and qualifications for future career prospects. As Interior design intern you will learn how to effectively work on enhancing functionality and visual appeal of the space or spaces presented by LINK Group
Responsibilities and Main Duties:
• Estimate material requirements and costs, and present design to client for approval;
• Confer with client to determine factors affecting planning interior environments, such as budget,
architectural preferences, and purpose and function;
• Select or design, and purchase furnishings, art works, and accessories;
• Formulate environmental plan to be practical, esthetic, and conducive to intended purposes, such as
raising productivity or selling merchandise;
• Render design ideas in form of paste-ups or drawings.
Experience:
• No prior experience is necessary, affinity is a plus

• Fluency of Ideas: The ability to come up with a number of ideas about a topic (the
number of ideas is important, not their quality, correctness, or creativity)"

Skills & Knowledge:

• Proficiency in English is a must, Mandarin language skills aren’t necessary;

• Strong knowledge of design programs such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop
• A good knowledge about different materials used in interior design
• Strong problem solving, organizational and negotiations skills: ability to build long
lasting relationships"

• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skill
• Excellent leadership and motivation skills to get the work done efficiently and quickly
• Ability to understand the wishes of clients and to work within deadlines given by
