Substitute Teacher

POSITION SUMMARY
The substitute teacher helps students to learn subject matter and/or skills that are required for scheduled lessons and provides meaningful instruction for assigned classrooms in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. In addition, the substitute teacher will monitor and supervise students throughout the school. Substitute teachers are assigned to divisions and programs as required.
SUPERVISED, EVALUATED BY & REPORTS TO:
Building Principal
REQUIREMENTS
➢ Completion of a bachelor’s degree
➢ Certification to teach any subject is a plus.
➢ Experience in teaching is preferable.
