Strong command of modern standards-based web development:
CSS
Expert level CSS
Working knowledge of CSS3
HTML/XHTML
Semantic markup best practices
Working knowledge of HTML5
JavaScript
Strong fluency in native JavaScript
Experience with unobtrusive JS techniques
Experience with jQuery or similar JS framework
Understand progressive enhancement best practices
Experience with Ajax-based web applications
5+ years experience developing user interfaces for the web
Demonstrated experience with cross-browser/platform development and debugging
Fluency with Adobe Photoshop
Familiarity with source control procedures and practices (SVN, CVS or similar)
Strong attention to detail
Solid communications skills (written and verbal)
Design sensibility

Great to Have, But Not Required:

Familiarity with website performance best practices
Design background
Object-oriented JavaScript experience
Experience with server-side development environments such as Zend Framework, .NET, MVC, etc.
Knowledge of Agile software development process
Experience in a high-traffic or large-scale web environment
Degree in a field directly relating to UI/UX/IA/HCI
