Alcanta Vocational School is located in Guangzhou, Guangdong province (also called Canton), a thriving metropolis at the centre of the Pearl River Delta with a booming economy and diverse culture. Guangzhou’s recent hosting of the 2010 Asian Games has left the city with a fresh sense of dynamism and prosperity. Alcanta School is located next to Baiyun Mountain in the northern part of the city, which provides a pleasant natural setting and clean, fresh air. A new subway line opened near Alcanta last year, making getting around the city convenient and easy for those at the school.
