C.A.P.S HK Ltd.,, is a leading supplier of garment, and independent exporter and specialty manufacturers. We are looking for a Textile Designer for our Apparel Division in China Guangzhou Office. This is a full-time position. If you have either textile design experience and meet our qualifications, we want to talk with you! We would like to offer work visa to China for the qualified candidate.
Designer - (Textile and Graphic Design)
Job Responsibilities
As a Textile Designer, you will be responsible for the creation and design of original and innovative ideas and graphics for textile-related products. You must have the ability to keep current on design and brand appropriate trends, and to partner and collaborate with other designers, merchants, and sales personnel.
Your specific duties as a Textile Designer will include:
•Creating exclusive and fashions styles for all sort of men's, ladies, kids wears for tops and bottoms.

•Maintaining trend awareness while conducting creative research for new ideas and development processes
•Owning the product design process, including market research, designing, sketching, and ensuring that each product is designed to meet the customer's criteria
•A proficient understanding of CAD patterns, repeats and print separations
•Responsible for working in coordination with the design team and to effectively collaborate with the Creative Director
•Must be able to work independently and as a team member as well as supporting and participating in all applicable company-wide initiatives
•Communicating ideas and trends clearly to key personnel and customers
•Coordinating the garment product development process, to include croquis, patternmaking, spec package, and fit samples
Requirements
As a Textile Designer, you must exhibit a passion and curiosity for apparel, textiles and crafting as well as a strong eye for color and trends. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines. It is also important that you have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact well with a wide variety of internal personnel and customers.
Specific qualifications for the Textile Designer position include:
•Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or related field
•3-5 years’ experience
•Technical knowledge of garment & fabric construction
•Excellent presentation and layout skills
•Proficiency with Adobe CS5, Illustrator & Photoshop; In Design, mandatory, proficiency in NedGraphics a plus
