Position Summary
IBI Group in Beijing is involved in many large scale projects around China and is seeking to hire a qualified design oriented Architect and planner. The candidate should have a capacity to develop architectural and planning solutions in a variety of context and carry the design process from conceptual to design development. He would also be asked to travel to meet clients for project presentation and assist in marketing representation for company.
Senior Architect

Responsibilities:
1. Major designer;
2. Manage design, schedule of large and medium-sized project;
3. Based on the design program, control the master plan, schematic design and design development work;
4. Review and analysis of site conditions;
5. Understand the scope of work and clients requirements;
6. Develop options and alternatives concepts for planning and architecture;
7. Meet client and officials for presentations;
8. Strong design skill, no need to take the management responsibilities for the team
Management, it is because the language problems with the clients.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor of architecture or above;
2. From 5 to 10 (or more than) years experience;
3. Creative and design oriented;
4. Good communication skills;
5. Good graphic communication, (use of hand drawings and/or any graphic software);
6. Use of main design and drawing software, (AutoCAD, Sketch-up, Photoshop, etc.);
7. Available for traveling;
8. Hard working;
9. Spoken and written English;
10. Westerner only;
11. Adaptable in quick and changing working conditions;
12. Team worker.
