Bilingual Copywriter (Chinese and English)

G2 Studio Creative Workshop
in Beijing
G2 Studio Creative Workshop is an international collective of creative professionals. Our team boasts talent specializing in video and animation, website design & development, graphic design, event management and photography.
We are currently looking to hire a freelance bilingual copywriter for our Beijing studio.
Main Responsibilities:
- Creation of advertising copy for use in print, broadcast and online media
- Creation of product names and accompanying slogans for use on packaging, brochures and other promotional material
- Draft original concepts for the creative director
- Work together with the creative team in exploring ideas and concepts for both visual and verbal campaign elements
- Prepare the creative team’s concepts in storyboard format to be presented to clients
- Develop advertising campaigns for a wide range of clients, working with creative director and art director to determine the best way to present advertising information
- Play an active role in the presentation of campaigns and creative concepts to end clients
Skills needed:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Chinese and English advertising copywriter
- A deep understanding of creative product, target audience and competitor activities in the market
- Brand strategy and implementation support experience preferred
- Acute attention to detail, quick learning and the ability to work concurrently on multiple projects within aggressive time lines
- Ability to take criticism with professionalism and flexibility
- Well-organized, mature, self-confident
- Chinese National with high level of proficiency in English or native English speaker with high level of proficiency in Chinese language
- Funkiness, creativity and originality considered a plus
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Powerpoint, Word and Excel
